    ProfileXT abilities and personality assessment

The right person for the right job

A good employee will not necessarily be equally successful in every role. One role requires quick decision-making and taking initiative, while another calls for consistency, precision, and patience. ProfileXT helps evaluate how a person’s abilities, behavioral traits, and professional interests align with a specific position.

ProfileXT is a comprehensive assessment methodology designed for recruitment and talent development decisions. It helps gain deep individual insight and determine where a person can best leverage their strengths.

    When is ProfileXT most valuable?

    • When hiring and evaluating a candidate's fit for a specific role
    • When determining whether an employee is ready for new tasks or greater responsibility
    • When planning internal mobility and identifying where an employee can thrive best
    • When developing employees and tailoring management approaches to their individual traits
    • When identifying key talent and planning succession for critical positions
    Process

Three areas that help evaluate person-job fit

The ProfileXT assessment combines three primary individual areas to help determine whether a person is suited for a role.

Thinking abilities – how does a person learn and solve problems?

Evaluates abilities to understand and analyze verbal and numerical information. Helps assess how well a person can handle the cognitive and learning demands of the job.

Behavioral traits – how does a person tend to work?

Reveals tendencies regarding pace of work, independence, communication, decision-making, and other behavioral traits. These help clarify a person's working style and potential challenges in a specific position.

Occupational interests – what activities appeal to a person?

Evaluates the types of tasks and activities that engage a person most. This helps determine how much the job content itself will foster their motivation and job satisfaction.

    What makes ProfileXT stand out?

Assessment tied to a specific job

An individual's results can be benchmarked against a job match profile – defined requirements for abilities, behavioral traits, and interests. This clearly highlights where a person's qualities align with the role and what warrants further exploration.

    Greater precision in recruitment interviews

Based on the assessment results and their alignment with the job profile, customised interview questions are provided. These help probe deeper into a specific candidate's experience and potential challenges.

Insights that add value beyond recruitment

Assessment data can be leveraged for employee onboarding, development, manager-employee collaboration, and career planning.

It is a benchmark defining the abilities, behavioral traits, and professional interests essential for a specific role. A candidate’s or employee’s results are compared against it. The profile should reflect real job requirements rather than an abstract “ideal employee.”

First, we partner with you to create a job profile by identifying the cognitive and behavioral indicators typical of top performers in that role. We then compare the candidate’s results against this profile. The further a candidate’s score strays from the target profile, the lower the likelihood of a strong job fit. The same profile can be reused across all applicants for that role, making candidate comparisons straightforward.

No. Scores are evaluated against specific job demands. For example, high independence is an asset in roles requiring self-direction, but it can create friction in positions that demand strict adherence to established protocols.

ProfileXT includes a dedicated scale that detects when an individual may be attempting to present themselves in a overly favorable light. When detected, it is flagged in the report, and we factor it in when interpreting results and structuring the candidate interview.

A single assessment can generate multiple distinct reports at no extra cost, including job fit analyses, interview guides, manager recommendations, and more.

ProfileXT is translated and adapted into over 30 languages, including Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian. Each participant can complete the evaluation in their preferred language, while you receive the report in yours.
